It is unpredictable where children’s interpretation of Torjanac’s visuals will lead to – which is probably better for Joyce, and definitely better for you.”

The letter tells a story
of the people of Beaugency, their mayor, the cat, the devil and the bridge over the Loire river.

Mačak i vrag kratka je priča za djecu velikoga Jamesa Joycea iz 1936. godine, napisana u obliku pisma njegovu unuku. Šaljiva je, inteligentna i nedvojbeno Joyceovska.
Pismo priča priču o stanovnicima gradića Beaugencyja (izgovoriti: Bužonsija), njihovom gradonačelniku, mačku, vragu i mostu preko rijeke Loire. |

| I painted the illustrations in oil paints on wooden panels and later added some digital touch-ups to them. I also designed the picture book and hand-lettered it. |

Ilustracije sam naslikao uljenim bojama na drvenim podlogama te ih kasnije digitalno doradio.
Također sam grafički oblikovao slikovnicu i vlastoručno upisao tekst.
