The Cat and the Devil (Macak i vrag in Croatian) is the title of a short children's story (written in a form of a letter) by James Joyce in 1936. The story is witty, clever and very Joyceian. And it's not exclusively for children - it's for the grown-ups as well (the best children's literature usually is).
It was a great pleasure for me to turn Joyce's story and its zany characters into a picture book, which I also hand-lettered and designed. All illustrations are oil/digital, 40x30cm.
